LAN connection-or lack of

I have a W-ME (Toshiba laptop) & a W2000 P (& others) on a
LAN. They have connected properly in the past. I can
still connect the W2000 TO the W-ME, but not the opposite.

At the W-ME machine, I start with "MY NETWORK
NEIGHBORHOOD" | "ENTIRE NETWORK" | "MY GROUP" & finally
the W2000 computer (named Jack). Up comes an Internet
Explorer window. In the title bar it shows "no page to
display". In the Address bar it shows "\\Jack". The main
section of the screen shows "action Canceled" with the
usual "try the following, etc." Any thoughts?
