L2TP vs NAT T on 98

Anybody know if there's a newer version of msl2tp that supports NAT Traversal?
I've got a '98 laptop with msl2tp installed, and it works fine until I take it
behind a corporate firewall that does NAT. (Trying to securely access my home
network when I'm at work.) I've upgraded my vpn access router at home to
support NAT-T, but don't have the piece for the remote end. Microsoft's site
describes an updated l2tp/ipsec component for w2k & xp, but doesn't mention a
newer version for '98 that I can find. Is there one, or are we all SOL if we
still use '98?

Hmm... I guess the lack of any response at all means either
A) Everybody who might know thinks Microsoft never produced an updated version,
but hasn't bothered to say so.
B) Nobody here's even heard of L2TP/IPSEC.
In either case, looks like SOL for anybody trying to use it under '98.

More like your question is 1) Rather esoteric, one that relatively few people
are going to know about in the first place, and 2) Posted to a newsgroup that
while seemingly appropriate, actually gets very little traffic these days. All
the super-network geeks are going to be found in Win2K.Networking and
WinXP.Networking groups. You may get a flame or two for doing so, but I'd
suggest browsing a few of those later-model groups and seeing if you can find
one that has the people you need. One that might have what you need and is oddly
named:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof....work_remotely

Fair enough. Anybody over on the xp side of the fence know what's up with
Microsoft and support for l2tp/ipsec under 98?
