Hello people!

Anyone can tell me how to know if my PC supports, whireless conections?
I have gone to the control pannel and i see that i have that option to
configure a wireless network, but I don't know if i have a card. I don't
think so. Is this option standard? How can I check? Thank you very much in
advance!!!

Martin.

There are a couple of different ways:

1. Look in the paperwork that you got when you bought the computer.
2. Look in the manual.
3. Go to Device Manager (from System applet in Control Panel) and expand
the Network Devices category. See what you have in there.
4. If you have an OEM machine, go to the OEM's website for your specific
model machine.
5. Run a free system inventory program like Belarc Advisor or Everest
Home Edition.

I would think that since you only have an ethernet card, that's all you
have. If you had a wireless PCI card that just wasn't installed
properly it would appear with a yellow bang next to the entry or under
Unknown Device. It isn't standard to include a wireless PCI card on a
desktop machine.
