Hi,
I have a Windows 2003 AD with all Windows 2000 servers at the moment. My
PDC emulator is W2K. Its clock has drifted off due to a config mistake on my
firewall for NTP. I fixed the mistake on the firewall but I need to change
my PDC emulator to point to the firewall (NTP Proxy). My server's clock is
about 10 minutes slow. After I run net time /setsntp and restart the w32time
service, I am wondering if the kerberos skew between my Windows time server
and the other DCs will cause me a problem? I am pretty sure I have change
the time on the time server manually in the past a long time ago and all the
other clocks changed without a problem, but I know what a pain the kerberos
thing can be as once I had a problem with a DC that crashed and its time
being out of sync with the others.
Do I have to go run w32tm -s on all my other servers as fast as I can, or
will it all be fine automatically.
Thanks!
