Keeping DHCP server reservations in sync

Anyone know of any tools to synchronize DHCP server reservations?

The goal is to run a couple DHCP servers in a 50/50 configuration for
redundancy, we're willing to tolerate momentary disconnections while
clients hop from one DHCP Server to another if an outage does occur, but
we need reservations to be handled identically on both sides.

So far we've been manually updating reservations but after a couple
typos we'd like something more reliable.

Can anyone recommend any tools to keep two 2008 R2 DHCP servers'
reservations in sync?

Hi Dave,

we had also the same requirement in our infrastructure and we had solved
this with onboard tools like netsh and task scheduler.

You can use netsh command to export (backup) the DHCP database and do an
daily import (Restore) via netsh on your servers.

More details around netsh and available switches can be found @ Technet :

I was hoping for something real time, but either that or the following
are my backup plans:

I'm a little disappointed that Microsoft hasn't added this configuration
to AD, similar to DNS, but what can ya do?

I was thinking on the lines of Lucent's QIP. But it's very pricey. It
includes an enterprise solution for DHCP and DNS, but I don't think they
offer it any longer.
