We're setting up a voip call router (asterisk) here. As a part of this
task, we need to enter static routes to our remote voip sites. I can
manually do this using the "route" utility, but I need to figure out how to
enter these routes into the system so they are present at boot.

This is complicated by the fact that we aren't using X on this system, so I
need to solve this problem without access to X-based configuration
utilities.

Can anyone tell me what configuration file, or other database, contains the
network routing information in Suse 9 linux (kernel 2.6) ??

So use Yast in its terminal mode. Don't need graphics. SU to root, yast
and go to it.

Sometimes we get so spoiled by the GUI that we forget that there are
terminal versions of alot of setup programs. I use the terminal (I
hesitate to call it console since it uses ncurses) version of yast to
work with my small box used as a router/DNS server for home.

You are very welcome, glad I could pass on some help.
