I have a Mentor (who? !) ADSL Modem Router with 1 USB port (connected
to desktop PC) and 1 Ethernet port (free). I've also now got a laptop
with built-in 802.11b (maybe 11g soon) mini-PCI card which I'd like to
be able to use internet access and share files, resources etc with the
desktop computer (when it's on).
Would it be best to just get a wireless access point (802.11g) and
connect to the Ethernet socket in the router; or add a wireless router
(more secure ?) to manage the wireless access; or replace the whole
lot with a wireless ADSL modem router?
Many thanks,
Chris
