Jumpy Cursor When File-Sharing Enabled

Adding the "File and Print Sharing" feature to my Windows
ME computer always causes "jumpy cursor." It's very
annoying. By "jumpy cursor" I mean that often when I move
the cursor there's a slight delay before it actually
moves, then it jumps to the spot. This has nothing to do
with any setting I have in my mouse driver. Removing the
File and Print Sharing option fixes this problem.

This problem occurs on this computer even when its the
only computer on the network powered up.

Any ideas?
