tried all you have recommend and was able to ping both computers, therefore
i have conferm that they are communicating.

When i try to join the domain and enter the administrator Username and Pwd i
get this error message: THE NETWORK PATH WAS NOT FOUND. HELP? This is really
bugging and i need to get pass it.

i run NSLOOKUP and it reply:
Server: unknown
Address: 192.168.0.1

DNS request time out.

Your issue is name resolution. You have installed DNS o your
W2k3 DC? If so then check the DNS log in event viewer and
see what's going with your DNS server. The XP machine relies
on DNS to find the domain controller.
