That is using the netbios port. What about DNS?
Do you have DNS set up at both sites? This is the best way to do it.
Have a local DNS server and have all clients configured to use the local
DNS. Then make each DNS server a secondary for the DNS server in the "other"
site. Each DNS server can then resolve addresses for both sites locally.
