Item: L21-00001

Is there an antenna booster for Item: L21-00001, 802.11b
wireless router? I can't get a signal from my basement
to the 1st floor of my house.

Hi,

Unfortunately there aren't any external antenna boosters for the MN-500
Wireless Base Station.
You can however purchase an additional MN-500 or another Wireless Access
Point and you can run it in bridge mode to extended the wireless coverage.

Actually there are antenna boosters that just pop on top
of the existing one (no actual wired connector). I wonder
how effective they are -- I never used one. You may be
able to find references by doing a search on this
newsgroup.

Microsoft base station products have an external and internal antenna,
therefore cannot be "extended."
