Is the customer supply a user name and password when logging on to the Win98
machine. Try this search for the .pwl file on the users pc (should be the
one with his name) rename it to .pwl2. Have him reboot, Have him enter his
user name and password. Another box will come p to confirm this, make both
boxes blank and say ok. Make the VPN connection, try mapping the Drive by IP
address not name. Does this work? If so delete the mapped Drive and try it
by name? Does this work? Make sure that his VPN proerties for tcpip for
DNS/WINS are your network servers. Next thing, make his work group the same
netbios name as your domain.
What version of Dialup network do you have?I believe the lasest DUN 1.4
