issue with tac-plus

Hi everybody,

I am trying to install the "tac-plus" package on two of my servers (1.
Debian 5.0 and 2. another server in the testing branch), but so far no
luck. It seems that this package is no longer supported? I can only see
this package in the "oldstable" branch - what does it mean?

I would really appreciate if someone could give me a step-by-step
instructions on how to install it. Is it even possible (without
installing it from the tar.gz package?).

Please advice.

Oldstable is the Debian version before the present stable version. What
errors do you get when you try to install tac-plus?
