Hello,

Does anyone know of 'any' Hebrew / Israeli TV / Radio channels which are
broadcasted on either Sky Digital ? or the old Astra system?

I am living in Nottingham and want to be able to watch them on the TV not
over the internet...

However, if this is not possible is there a device I can install on my
friends cable box to transmit the TV over the internet ?

Many thanks,

Shaun

There are other satellites up there which you can receive in the UK

See: http://www.lyngsat.com for what they all transmit

Dave Fawthrop <dave hyphenologist co uk> Google Groups is IME the *worst*
method of accessing usenet. GG subscribers would be well advised get a
newsreader, say Agent, and a newsserver, say news.individual.net. These
will allow them: to see only *new* posts, a killfile, and other goodies.

Try listening on line through Windows Media Player....there used to be at
least three stations there (for the USA) but only if you speak Hebrew,of
course.....get your Bar Mitzvah books out!

Also in your e-mail daily.....

You'll know more about life in Israel than most Israelis!

I thought one had to *understand* a language rather than just read it.

If you could push your old Astra 1 dish westwards by 6 degrees to focus on
Hotbird 8 at 13 East then there is the Hebrew IBA Channel 33 television on
12207 H SR 27500 : ( digital not analogue ). unencrypted free to air.
