Hi, Can anyone tell me how good the ISP pipex is? Judging on personal
experience and length of time using it.

Thanks

Been using pipex for three years now. Initially for ISDN and just started
BB. I thoroughly rate them. They seem professional, and have always been
helpful.

I signed up with them in February 2003 and i`m still with them.

In that time i`ve had 2 (?) email outages and one "unable to connect"
outage, none of which lasted more than a few hours.

All in all, they rank among the best ISPs i`ve had experience of, and
i`ve been on the net since ~1994

Been with Pipex for over 2 years. Never had a problem.

I left them because they were unable to do anything about me getting
56K speeds after a few weeks of mediocre connectivity. I migrated to
Nildram and things were brilliant overnight. Pipex continued to charge
me and I had to take it up with my credit card company to get the money
back. Compared to what they were in the early days (pre 56k modems)they
are a shambles. Just my experience with them. Nilly are good but I may
look at a cheaper deal if the service is as good. Watching Metronet
closely.
