Most provide access to news groups.

How good that access is however another matter....

Have a look at www.adslguide.org.uk for comments on the various providers.

A better question would be who are the ISP's who offer a _working_
usenet service included in their price?

Quite a few do include such servers but many are broken to a greater
or lesser extent...

Do you want a full news server with binaries or are you after discussions
and useful information rather than the usual binary downloads?

For the former many (most?) ISPs offer a news service. For the latter you
need a supplier like Clara who offer a full news server.

Operating a full news server including binaries is expensive so expect to
pay a premium for this.

Unless of course you go with clara as your ISP, in which case you get
the same full binary news server access for "free".

At the moment I'm using free.teranews.com which costs $3.95 to setup and a
maximum of 50meg downloads, which seems a fairly good deal, but there seems
to be a fair number of outages on the server along with delays. Thanks for
your help

Hopefully, within the next 3 weeks, PlusNets binary feed will be improving
if all goes according to plan (their plan!).
