I really really have had enough with poor 256kps upload speeds. Can anyone
recommend me some ISPs that do faster upload speeds than 256? It seems it's
very easier to find faster DL speeds but not many ISPs differ from the
standard 256.

512kbps upload or 1mbit would be nice.

cheers

256 is the standard that BT supply on IPstream. To get any higher, you
will have to find a provider that does LLU and hope that your exchange
has been unbundled and also the provider will give >256.
Bulldog and Easynet are 2 that I can think of ATM.

If you've got money to burn then there is always the SDSL option if your
exchange supports it.

AAISP can bond multiple lines using a Firebrick:

You can bond 2,3, or 4 lines to give up to 1Mbit upload.

Unless you live in London and can go to Bulldog, then 256 is abotu the
best you'll get from DSL
