E7even, Bulldog, Pipex or Plusnet.E7even appears to be cheapest but have not
seen as many happy customers praising them as other isp's

I want always on service no evenings only crap, if I am paying up to £20 a
month I want ready to use any time day or night.

Most probably get Netgear DG834G, although quite a bit of support shown for
Belkin 7630, so not finalised yet, make such I am getting bb before ordering
router.

I went for freedom2surf based on 3 friends who recomended, and reveiws
in www.adslguide.org 22.50 pcm. Support has been excellent.

When I terminated freeserve anytime they did point out that thier
offering was now around £20 per month though. Try them since they are
your current provider, it might be an easier transfer.

I'm v happy with V21 £19.99 a month, one month deal, usual DSL speeds, 24/7,
I'm not aware of any restrictions. Use any USB modem you want. At one time
one of the cheapest, now I see even BT is offering DSL at that price but
with restrictions.

I'm with Bulldog and perfectly happy with them.

I find, that if the Bulldog oriduct you want is available in your area,
their products normally tend to offer the best "value for money"

If you see some of my other posts you read about my experiences of Bulldog.

If you do decide to use Bulldog would you mind quoting my referral code when
signing up - just quote "bdol 87431" when signing up online (under "How
did you hear about Bulldog?/Referred by a Friend") or by telephone

There are also many happy Plusnet and Pipex customers here.. - I have to
say, I don't know much about E7even though.

My dilemma exactly.. think I am going for the Belkin though.

As:

1. It comes with lifetime support via a freephone number - Netgear is a 0870
number
2. There have been less complaints about it
3. Netgear seem to have longstanding issues - re: firmware - i.e. releasing
many updates to fix problems

and finally, the Belkin 7630 is now cheaper (around £70 now) than the
Netgear - for months (until last week!) it was more expensive..

Regards
Sunil

PlusNet have been excellent for me and are even more value if you want some
decent web hosting as it is all included. (Use referral id "worship" if you
sign up
