ISP that allows hotspots

Hi,

Does anyone know of an ISP that is hotspot friendly ? I know most of
the "residential" ISP's won't like it - but I'm looking for about a 1MB
or 2MB service that the ISP is happy for me to share out via WiFi.. Any
ideas ?

Looking at the terms of a couple of ISP's at random I can see no problem
with this provided that you are not charging for access and therefore
reselling.

After all most AP's could potentially be accessed by their neighbours if
unsecured.

Maybe its OK if it happens by accident rather than design.

What happens if someone in your community repays your altruism by
downloading child porn on their laptop...

I'm changing my mind already!

How will they know?

I have 5 wireless devices connecting to my network, how would they know
the difference?

We provide 2MB 50:1 Home ADSL. Once you have the connection installed into
your building, what you do with it is entirely up to you :-)

Webmaster has been contacted to update. The install fee is now £55.00 plus
VAT on all the ADSL lines.

I think the bank holiday switch over didn't help.

Sorry - I should have made my post a bit clearer. The Wireless AP will
actually be hooked into the Boingo.com service - and hence will become
chargable.

I know most T&C's forbid "resale" of the ISP's bandwidth - and for this
I assume they mean wireless, but given the number of hotspots that are
springing up most people seem to just be ignoring those terms Now on
the grounds that I'm reselling via Boingo.com I'd really like to stay on
the right side of the ISP if I can. Gotta be honest sometimes
