ircd 2.11.0 with mod_lhex

I want to run ircd 2.11.0 with the mod_lhex I've configured it in
iauth.conf as this:

notimeout
required
extinfo

module rfc931

module lhex
option = 127.0.0.1

and my lhex script is running and listening on 9674 but it does not
seem to check the connection if I try to connect to my irc server. So
I'm believing that mod_lhex is not working. How can I check what iauth
and mod_lhex are doing, I have a ircd.auth file in my log directory
but it's empty. I'm sure iauth is running, cause I can see it in the
prozess list. So I don't know where to start.
