ipv6 proxy question

Hi,

Has anybody experience in setting up a ipv6 interface to reply to
proxy arps. I have forwarding turned on and so it should work like a
router. But when I ping an ipv6 address that sits behind this
interface there is no response. I've not looked at the traffic
to see the response being sent back.

any help will be appreciated..
