IPv4 Autoconfiguration Address

Hello,

We have a new server running Windows 2008 x64 and are running into numerous
networking issues. It appears that there is an automatically assigned
primary IP address that is hijacking all network requests and we can't seem
to get rid of it and use our statically defined IP address instead.
Searches of news groups show similar problems but no solutions. Any idea
how we can get rid of IPv4 Autoconfiguration?

Thanks,

Dan W.

Hello Dan,

Please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the server. So you are not able
to configure a fixed ip address? Do you use SP2 and the latest patches? Also
are the NIC drivers up to date?

Best regards
