Is there a good doc on how to use the QUEUE target in iptables. I have
looked at the docs and source code in the kernel, and one application,
and I conclude that this shows a lot of what is possible, and how one
application did it, but no overview doc on the general method.
I just need an overview of how the original implementation is intended
to work, perhaps a sentence on
- how to connect to the queue (queues? comments seem to imply this)
- how to read a packet into memory "properly"
- how to tell the kernel accept or reject
- can the packet really be edited without breaking things?
I don't need a lot of hand-holding, just a peek into what was intended.
