Hi all.
first: I know nothing of networking, and even less of firewalls, IP
tables, etc.

I am running deb. 3.1 Sarge stable, installed w/ 2.6.8
Now switching from deb 2.6.8 to vanilla 'kernel.org' 2.6.16.1

ran into a bit of problems getting ip tables to work, I 'think' it does
now.

SO---

I saved an lsmod of the original kernel, and am comparing to new lsmod.

First entry WAS ipt_limit, and is now xt_limit. It seems to me the one has
directly replaced the other to help redundant code going into IPv6. Is
this correct, and should I be happy w/ that module replacing the other?

TYIA
