Do some ISPs still use Datastream, while others use IPStream, or have they
now all moved to one type? Which is best?

Yep both are still used and the arguments continue as to which is best.
IPStream is the most common, but Datastream is more configurable by the ISP
directly. Some say IPstream is best, others say Datastream is better. The
actual fact is they are both OK if they are set up correctly. Infact some
business Datastream services are excellent, even though the general thought
is that IPstream is the best. It reall depends on the ISP supplying the
service.
