I am currently trying to set up a VPN tunnel with two Zyxels. It looks
simple enough, and it works-- sometimes. And sometimes I see security
associations between the firewalls, but no traffic is passing through the
tunnel. Or I see all LEDs blinking, suggesting that a lot of traffic is
going on, but not in the tunnel. Are the Zyxels then trying to synchronize?
What I have not yet found is a diagnostic tool that can show if any traffic
is going on in a VPN tunnel, or at least what its status is.
