Ah! OK. So, I made a crossover cable:
http://www.duxcw.com/digest/Howto/ne...ble/cable5.htm
and now I have a connection light!
But I still can't get traffic to pass through.
I set the PC to use the IPCOP as the Gateway and refreshed the NIC. I
used a static IP. I turned IPCOP's DHCP on and tried dynamic, either
way, just can't get a PC to "see" the Internet.
I'm certain I'm missing something simple...but I feel like I've looked
at all the basics, and can't find it.
It's probably as simple as straight vs crossover cable, but I just
don't know enough to know even quite where to look. =)
Thanks for any suggestions on where I should focus my looking!
