IPconfig question

I have two PCs that are on a wired LAN. Both are running WinXP. The one
called back2 is using home and the one called den is running pro. They are
both using Outlook Express.

I have the problem where the one called den will not connect to one
particular Internet site. As far as I can tell it is only the one site. This
is true even if I try to respond to a link in an email from that site.

Pinging from each machine gets the same result. One goes through as
expected, the other fails to connect. I have tried this with and without a
firewall. It makes no difference. Using VisualRoute shows that the failing
machine has a 100 percent packet loss on the second hop.

At each machine I ran ipconfig /all and the results are below.

Notice that the failing box is missing autoconfiguration, Dhcp is not
enabled and DNS suffix search list is absent.

I am over my head at this point. How does this get fixed?

Thanks

Charlie

FWIW, someone had a similar problem at http://www.futurehardware.in/316866.htm.
They fixed it by resetting the router. They never did figure out what
was wrong.
