ipconfig glashes

When I go START>RUN>IPCONFIG then ipconfig sceen flashes with the info but
the dos box automatically closes on me.

Can someone please tell me how to make the dos box stay open?

open a command prompt window (start, run and type cmd)
Then type ipconfig within the command prompt window
