I was wondering if any one could help me with the following problem that I
have.

I have the following setup on my network.

A cabletron SSR 520 router on a valid public IP address doing NAT to a
number of private networks through an Ericson router also connected to a
public IP address.

The cabletron seems to only allow 20 NAT rules to the private networks and I
need to do alot more. I have a Linux Redhat 6.2 server with ipchains running
and I would like to replace the SSR 520 router with the Linux box for NAT.

The Ericson cannot do NAT but does something called NAF.

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't - if you serve multiple networks, you're better off using a
dedicated firewall/router for that.. easier to control and maintain.

Check out ipcop (www.ipcop.org), it supports unlimited users and a DMZ.
