Hi there. I have seen many of the answers to the infamous IPC$ question,
but all of them say that you need to create an account with the same
username and password on the machine that you can't connect to.

However, I am using a Win98 machine to connect to a Mac, and it prompts
for a password. My Log on name for Windows is Russell Codd, with no
password. I set up the account on the Mac as Russell Codd with no
password, and then trying to enter nothing at all when the password
prompt box came up in Network Neighbourhood, but still nothing doing.

Any ideas?
