I have an existing production NT4 Domain. I am about to
build a new Server 2003 domain. The NT4 domain is on a
10.1.1.1 subnet. When building the Server 2003 domain,
what subnet should I use to avoid conflicting DNS? I
plan to use ADMT to migrate users over to 2003. Any
suggestions?

There is no conflict. Just use the same subnet. Clients will only use the
DNS they are configured to use, any other DNS Server is ignored.

Thanks for your reply Phillip.
What about the NT4 PDC and BDC? Shall I change the DNS
and WINS addresses that these servers point to? Currently
they point to themselves. Thanks.

They are still thier own domain, but NT4 domains are Netbios based and don't
require either WINS or DNS, so they will still work no matter where you
point WINS & DNS. But if you want a Trust between them and the new domain
they probably should all use the same WINS & DNS which would be on the new
DCs. ADMT requires a trust to work properly.
