Hi, I am tring to connect a win98 PC to a pere to peer
network(mainly WinXP laptop), but I fail. So I tried
again by changing the LAN IP and TCP/IP IP, it seems work
but I made them the same (LAN IP and TCP/IP)
accidentally. When I restart the PC, it comes up "window
protection error, you have to restart the computer" but
this message appear again and again. I am able to access
DOS, is there a way to change the TCP/IP setting through
DOS? Because I suppose the setting is the main reason for
the error. Or, is there other way to solve this
problem??? Thank you for the attention.
