I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Perhaps you can help me figure it
out.

I'm having this one particular XP workstation in a domain environment. The
problem began with "no internet access" (while everyone else has no
problem). The workstation can, however, access to resources on the domain
(share drives, etc).

What I did was to assign it a static IP (one that is outside of the DHCP
range), and the internet was ok.

So, what is really going on ?

Thanks
Steve

Aloha SP_1" none,

Any chance your DHCP range overlaps a static IP address that some other machine
(server perhaps?) has assigned to it and you didn't do an exclusion/reservation
for that address?

Do you know what address that machine was getting from DHCP?

Hi...and Aloha!

Well, I was afraid of overlapping IP, but again, if it was, how can the
workstation be accessing the resources on the domain (except for internet)
?? That's not possible, right ?

The workstation was getting IP from an NT server. Anyway, I'll keep
checking.

Thanks
Steve
