Currently have an Active Directory Domain (site A) with a 10.51.16.0 IP
address scheme. Will be relocating all AD servers and stand alone servers to
new location that is currently using IP address scheme 10.51.96.0 (site B).
Is it recommended that I just swap IP addresses in which I move site A IP
scheme to site B and site B to site A? Or, is not as sensitive to change the
IP address for the entire domain and make the 96 subnet (site B) the new IP
scheme for the entire domain? Please provide assistance or recommendations.

Hello Leo,

That really depends on you, if you relocate one site to the other, just choose
the subnet you like. So if you move site A to site B i would change ip addresses
from site A to the new ip address of site B and then shut them down. After
that change in AD sites and services on site B the subnets and move the machines
to site B. When now the servers startup in site B they should work correct.

For the steps make sure after changing the ip address, moving to site B and
starting them, that DNS zones are updated with the new correct ip and that
replication between the DC is working. Also do not use more time then the
tombstone lifetime.

Best regards

Domains have nothing to do with IP#s.

You can have multiple Domains on one Subnet

You an have muliple Subnets on one Domain

There is just simply no relationship between the two.

Move the machines to the new site and change the addresses.
Meinolf gave the rest of the details so I won't repeat all those.
