Does the computer give a prompt for user name, password, and domain
when you start Windows?
If so, here's how to stop it:
1. Go to Control Panel | Network.
2. Set the primary network logon to Windows Logon.
3. Double click Client for Microsoft Networks in the list of network
components.
4. Clear all of the Windows NT domain boxes.
5. Log off or reboot.
6. Log on with a user name and no password.
If that doesn't solve the problem, please reply to this message in the
news group (not by E-mail) with more information to help other people
understand the problem. For example:
How do you know that its trying to connect to the school network?
What exactly does it say?
