The most likely problem is that a firewall on comp9 is blocking access
from comp8. It could be WinXP's built-in firewall, or it could be a
firewall program from Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PC-cillin, Sygate,
etc. Configure the firewall to allow access by other computers on the
local area network.
