Internet very slow on wireless computer

I am running XP and have my computers networked. On the wireless computer
when running IE6 my pages are extremly slow to load. The connection strength
shows excellent. I don't think it's a problem with cable modem or the router
as my computer that is connected with ethernet card works fine. I'm using a
linksys 802.11b broadband router.
