Is there anyway to get a W2K domain server (advanced) to synchronize with an external time source? This is the only server in the domain....

Yes - in a command prompt:

net time /setsntp:<name of time server> <enter>

I've been using ntp2.usno.navy.mil

the net time command. Run it with the /? to get a list of the switches
