I've installed a wireless router on a Bellsouth DSL line,
with one computer wired to it, and the other wireless.
Both are running XP. The wired computer works fine, but
the wireless computer cannot access the internet. I can
ping the router, and external sites, and I can find web
sites on it (browser message web site found at the bottom
of the window), but no web sites will load or display in
the browser (ie 6.) I was also able to use Yahoo
Messenger service, but not access any web sites. Can
anyone offer any help with this?

It sounds like a DNS issue on the wireless computer. TRy a repair on
the wireless connection and make sure the DNS server settings are correct.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the DNS settings,
and they're right, and the repair didn't solve it either.

I've also checked for duplicate winsock files, and found
none. And I called D-Link techg support (both the router
and the wireless card are D-Link), and they couldn't
figure it out either. They suggested downloading Windows
Updates, but I can't do that, because I can't view the web
page.

Any suggestions for the next step?

Well this newsgroup is only for the Microsoft networking hardware. If
my suggestions didn't fix it I'd suggest posting on one of the following
newsgroups, Windows XP, General networking, or one for D-link.
