Internet printing through RDP

I have a SBS 2003 with VPN through static IPs to connect two offices located
in different cities.

When the external office workers log in with RDP, to the SBS 2003 they want
to be able to print documents to their locally attached printers.

What are the steps to set-up internet printing back to these local printers
while logged in through RDP?

Thanks

When you start RDP click options - local resources tab. Check to enable
Printers as one of the local devices and resources you want to use in the
remote session.

Excuse my hard head.

That is what I thought. However, when I click on the RDP link I am
immediately taken to the Remote Server Login Screen. I am not given any
chance to open the Options you refer to.

Is there another way to access what you are talking about?

Thanks

Hi,

If it is a .rdp file, you will have to right-click it and select Edit to
access the Local Resources tab.

When I open RDP on the local computer it opens to an applet where you can
input the servername you want to connect to, you have the buttons connect,
cancel, help, and options.

What do you mean when you say "when I click on the RDP link"?

What OS are you starting RDP on?

Thanks.

I had an .rdp file from the Server. I don't know why I didn't try the right
mouse click. Must be a little brain dead.

Is there any other setting for the Local Printer, other than making sure it
is shared?

Hi,

It does NOT have to be shared.
