Hi

I'm trying to set up a mates small wireless network so that he can
share his broadband connection between 2 PCs

PC1 is running Windows XP, has a broadband connection to BT Internet
via a BT Voyager USB modem

PC2 is running Windows 98SE

Both are networked using Belkin USB wireless adaptors, in ad-hoc mode.

No problem with the networking, both PC's can see each other, transfer
files, share drives and printers etc.

Unfortunately when I drop the properties box of the BTI connectoid and
look for "sharing" there doesn't appear to be an option to share the
connection. The XP helpfile says there should be one.

Any ideas, anyone?

TIA

Have you definitely looked in :-

Start
Connect to
Show All Connections
The right click on the relevant BT Dial Up icon
Select Properties
Clicked on the advanced tab to find the ICS settings

That's usually where the ICS setting live within XP.

Cheers
