Internet Connection Sharing

Hello,
Internet connection sharing was working fine and the
ethernet card and connection are still in the computer, it
recognizes the card as hardware, but will not let me
install internet connection sharing under add programs in
the control panel....

Any ideas?

Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
more information to help other people understand the problem.

Was ICS already installed on this computer? Was ICS already installed
on another computer on the network? If the answer to either of those
is "Yes", why are you trying to install ICS again?

What exactly happens when you try to install ICS? If there's an error
message, what does it say?

yes ICS was installed on this computer, and worked fine,

Had to do a complete factory restore.

There is no error message, i check the box next to ICS in
windows startup in add/remove programs and it checks the
box, then when i restart my computer and look, it is no
longer checked.
