Internet Connection Sharing

I have connected my base station to a computer running
Windows ME that has a USB connected DSL modem. I have
activated internet sharing but my remote laptop still
can not connect to the internet. The computer see each
other fine on the network, but the remote still can not
get to the internet. Is there some other settings that I
need for the ME to let the remote share the connection.
