In Fedora Core 4 I used to manually enter my

1)IP address
2)DNS
3)Gateway in Network Configuration Wizard.

But Yeterday when I installed Fedora Core 6 , I
am unable to do the above mentioned procedure.
During booting, System tries to Bring up network
interface device (eth0) and fails. And when I try to
configure it manually Network Configuration Wizard
fails to open.

For your further information I connect to Internet
through my NIC card.

Could you please tell me the proper way to
this.

My Service Provider is : Tata Indicom VSNL

Please reply to (E-Mail Removed)

Try to edit it manualy by typing: vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/
ifcfg-eth0
for you dns you should have something like this
search blahblah
nameserver yourdnsserver
in /etc/resolv.conf if not try to add your ISP dns server

good luck
