Hi, I hope you all are doing well.

When I connect my PC to my router, it blocks all PC connections to the
Internet on the network. I have a linksys 4 port router with two PC's
connected. When I connect one of the PC's and try to access the Internet
from the other PC it just sits there. I can't check email or access any web
page. When I disconnect the troubled
PC, wait a few minutes the other PC begins working just fine.

I've tried two different network cards and both do the same. The PC is
using Windows XP.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

K

Please contact the support section for the manufacturer of your router.
This newsgroup supports Microsoft's Broadband Networking hardware and
software only. Thanks.

Check the problem unit for "Viruses" and clear them (if any). Disconnect the
"Non-Problem" unit from the router and Connect the problem unit. If you
still cannot get Internet access, let me know what results you do get and
we'll go from there.
