internet access through wireless router

I have recently purchased and successfully connected a Dynamode
wireless router. All my connection tests show the router working, yet
I cannot access any websites other than google and bbc.co.uk. Ping
tests give the same result. Can anyone help?

Tired a wired connection to the router.
Turn off all security while troubleshooting.
Run "IPCONFIG /ALL" in a CMD window and post the exact results here.

Since the traceroute works, my guess is a browser configuration issue.
Things to try:
* Check for and turn off any Proxy settings in Internet Options.
* Reset all Security settings to defaults.
* Reset *all* settings to defaults.
* If you're using IE, try Firefox or Opera.

I have long wondered about Internet Options.

Do they affect all browsers, or only Internet Explorer?

Maybe I have overlooked them, but I never see references to Internet
Options in Netscape or Firefox.

Primarily Internet Explorer, but some other Internet software can pick
up and use those settings.

Can you really have two connections (one wireless, the other
hardwired) to the same router and both to the internet at the
same time on a Windows machine?

Sure, but all traffic will be routed to the interface with the lower
metric for the route -- see
