Hi, Is it possible to get an internal DSL modem that works like an
external one?

I currently have a Dlink router attached to a zyxel dsl modem
providing my home with wan and lan internet access. Both devices are
plugged into outlets and sitting atop a computer which is always left
on (used as a fileserver). I'm hoping to buy a PCI modem I can stick
in the computer which will do the same job as the current external
one. This would save power and give me extra space and an extra
socket. But is it possible/easy to set up?

Thanks, Ciaran

It would make more sense to replace the DLink with a different model
which has a builtin DSL modem. Then you would not need to leave any PC
turned on.

I use the PC as a fileserver. it will be left on regardless. I'm just
hoping there's a way I can get an internal PCI modem that my router
can plug into?
