Intermittent Offline Files issue

I have read a few post about the problem I am having but haven't found a
solution.

I am running SBS 2003 Standard with XP Professional SP2 clients. My
Documents is redirected using the SBS wizard. I see the icon in the tray
telling me that the workstation has lost it's connection to the server
intermittently. Then a minute or so later it says it's back and the
connection can be reestablished.

I also had this problem in the past with XP SP1 and possibly even Windows
2000 Server as the file server. Has anyone figured out what causes this?
Is it on the client side or the server side?

XP firewall is disabled while testing, and I still get the problem.
