Interferance from neighbor's network

I was running a Linksys wireless network for several months with
pretty good performance. Then one day my wireless network just
stopped working. I was originally on chanel 6, so I switched over to
chanel 11. This got my network running again, but the connect is much
slower than it used to be. I got Netstumbler and found that someone
nearby had set up a wireless network on chanel 6. I have tried other
chanels and most completly lock my connection out. 11 seems to work
the best, but it is still very slow. Any ideas on how to get my
performance back? By the way I am running a Linksys wireless G
router, PC card, and notebook card. Thanks.

maybe try turning down your broadcast strength, and maybe get that guy to
turn his down.
why broadcast beyond your own house?
